DAY 1: ARRIVE AT AIRPORT (BILBAO OR SANTANDER)
Transfer to the medieval town of Santillana del Mar. Free time to relax, stroll the cobbled streets, and head to the Colegiata, a Romanesque church and former Benedictine monastery. You also have the chance to visit the Neocave of Altamira. The cave of Altamira is privileged to be the first place in the world where the existence of rock art from the Upper Paleolithic was discovered. Transfer to Poo beach.
ACCOMMODATION: Hotel La Farola -
Day 2: POO/BIKING
Breakfast. Today, we will bike along the coast, discovering beautiful beaches, the cliffs and the spectacular “Bufones”, seawater geysers close to the sea, which can only be seen in this area. Packed lunch at Cuevas del Mar beach. Shuttle back to Poo Dinner at Sidrería Casa Poli
ACCOMMODATION: Hotel La Farola -
DAY 3: POO/SEA KAYAKING
Breakfast. Transfer to Cuevas del Mar beach for Sea kayaking. We will discover amazing coves and dramatic cliffs and have the chance to climb, swim or just relax on the beach. Lunch on the beach. Shuttle back to Poo. Dinner at Restaurant El Cabañón

DAY 4: HIKING THE CARES GORGE
Breakfast. Transfer to Poncebos. With its narrow passes and gullies, this gorge is right in the heart of the Picos de Europa Mountains. The area’s stunning landscape affords unique views of the National Park. Getting to know this route is a unique experience. The trail is narrow, surrounded by wild vegetation, with water ever-present. The river flows along the valley floor; its sound is a constant companion en route. Now and again, the path takes you through small tunnels carved out of the rock and across bridges that hang over the abyss. All the while, rocky mountainsides tower up on either side of the trail. The itinerary runs between Poncebos, in Asturias province and Cain, in Leon province. It runs parallel to the Cares, the area’s wildest river. The route covers 12 kilometres over easy terrain. Transfer to Boca de Huergano

DAY 5: SUP IN RIAÑO LAKE
Breakfast. Today, we will do SUP in Riaño Lake, surrounded by stunning mountains and a perfect spot for wild watching. Then, we move to the San Glorio mountain pass, a road with hardly any traffic and incredible beauty that takes us to Potes. Before arriving in Potes, we will visit a Liquor Winery to see how the famous “Orujo de Potes” is manufactured. A small stop in Potes and transfer to our accommodation in Espinama
ACCOMMODATION: Hostal Remoña -
DAY 6: . VIA FERRATA IN LIEBANA VALLEY
Breakfast. VIA FERRATA CAMALEÑO. Experience the stunning views, unique terrain, and heights as you travel routes normally only accessible to skilled rock climbers! Via Ferrata is a climbing system, a series of fixed metal rungs and steel cable systems. We do via Ferrata Camaleño near Los Llanos village, halfway between Potes & Fuente De. This Via Ferrata takes 2 hours and a half. For those who do not want to climb/zip we can offer kayaking on the river Deva or Hiking in the Liebana Valley
ACCOMMODATION: Hostal Remoña -
DAY 7: HIKE TO ALIVA GLACIER VALLEY
Breakfast. HIKE ALONG ALIVA GLACIER VALLEY. 10 Km Gradient: -700m. First, you will take the cable car to Fuente Dé. Then, you will cross the moraine of the great Aliva glacier, coming into Asturias and then, you will walk along the Duje River, this area is surrounded by grassland, and you will see the cows, goats and sheep, to get a collection of red-roofed buildings known as "Vegas del Toro" and arriving in Sotres, the second-highest village in the national park. In the town, our vehicle is waiting for you to transfer back to Arenas de Cabrales
ACCOMMODATION: Hotel Picos de Europa -
DAY 8: CANYONING & TRANSFER TO BILBAO
Breakfast. Today, you will explore the Picos de Europa from within, descending a gorge forged by a mountain river. In this challenging activity, dressed in wetsuits, find natural wells and water slides, abseil in waterfalls and jump into beautiful pools. Lunch in a homemade restaurant and shuttle to Bilbao. Free dinner in Bilbao downtown.
ACCOMMODATION: Casa Gurea -
DAY 9: OFF TO THE AIRPORT
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Have a safe flight home and we hope to see you again on another Earth Travellers get-a-way.
